First order of business for the guys is to attend to the hitch. Roughly 1.5 hours to remove the old one due to several most uncooperative bolts. Then to the business of moving/lifting Hensley parts, a weighty affair of 70 and 90 lbs.
During all of this Jan & I did the tour: a 'small' quilt shop which turned out to be absolutely massive compared to what is available back home followed by an obligatory trip to Jo-Ann's where I couldn't resist a role of silk dupioni, treated for ink-jet printing.
Introducing Hensley, a substantial looking affair. Al took 'her' for a test run up the road and has declared he will reserve judgement on how well it works. He's waiting for the first 18-wheeler to pass us on the highway.
You'll notice one piece sports a neon orange glow. Meanwhile Jan and I had another hard day: decipering the intricacies of cell phones (now have a new phone number with AT&T), exploring the SA Thrift Shop where I succombed to a pair of jeans with accompanying velvet & bead cell phone bag, ending our outing at the community centre where I did laps in the pool while Jan did her series of stretching in the hot pool. Tonight we dined out at a very lovely restaurant.
Tomorrow we bid our friends' goodbye and begin the first of 3 driving days to finish in Ocala where we will set up 'camp' for a few days.
