Night before our winter escape to ...

Fast forward...very fast as my last post has nothing to do with current events and our trip to the Florida Keys, via Connecticut.

Sneak preview of Connecticut activities: Al & Rich will be installing a Hensley hitch, Jan & I working out at her local gym & heated pool, playing with, nay working, my Babylock embellisher. Perhaps some cruising of the local quilting sites, dining out, who knows what we might get up to.

Today involved last minute stuff - hooking up travel trailer, testing directional signals, ... The best part was being taken out to brunch by our oldest son's girlfriend, both of whom currently hail from Montreal, accompanied by youngest son who unexpectedly was given 5 days off from his military training in New Brunswick and who survived the trip westward during this past snowstorm. What a welcome send-off. Doesn't get much better than that.

A photo of the 'rig' before departure, complete with snow will appear soon as all is carefully stored away. Looks pretty tame compared to if I had taken the picture on Friday.

PS I cannot, not tell you this. Sorry about the grammar but it does suit the situation. As I type this, husband is perched on a kitchen stool at the counter busily separating dog kibble - puppy from adult. Don't ask how this happened, or why it's somewhat necessary or I will be forced to write more. And y'all know that I 'talk' too much and wanna help me out. Right?
