ROPA - used clothing market Monday, Mar 2nd

While in conversation with another quilter I was told about an area where one can buy used clothing. Since I haven't had my thrift shop visit this trip, we are off to try and find this place which we do, but only by accident. It's not far from the McAllen Airport, about 30 min west of Mercedes. Just north of the 83 highway, Al points out the location of a massive Sunday flea market probably 15 times the size of the one we visited on Sunday.
This area features many, many wholesalers of baled clothing. Finally we chance upon Warehouse Kingdom, a very large outlet-mall type of place with a very low occupancy rate. As I was told only the buildings were yellow and green, this seems to be the place I was looking for.
Along with bales of used clothing, individual items can be picked out and bought by the pound - from .50 to $1. It becomes increasingly obvious to me that this is the district where flea market sellers purchase their wares, not all of which are used. Some of the outlets are liquidators. The air hockey game has a price tag of $50.
