Another gorgeous day, clear skies and 15C at 9:36am. Gas report: $2.95.
Today we’re going east to the Gulf via 200, 491 and Beverly Hills to Crystal River and then Homosassa to see the endangered manatees. It’s a pleasant drive compared to last night’s colossal traffic jam encountered in Ocala. One side of #75N had been closed backing up traffic for miles in several directions so we only reached our campground about 6:30pm having started our way home just short of 3pm! Today should be better with enough time at the end of the day to re-size some photos for the blog.
In Crystal River a West Marine store catches our attention. Don’cha think the tug would be just perfect parked at our dock. On we go to Homosassa on the advice of the store’s employees.http://www.homosassasprings.org/Homosassa.cfm is the web site of a wonderful park.
